Chicago: Discover Startup Investing this September

The Startup Angels workshop is heading to Chicago.

On September 27 and 28, Startup Angels and 1871 Chicago will host a Startup Angels workshop designed for the Chicago community. The workshop will walk aspiring angel investors through best practices and the latest methodology to begin their investing journey.

The Startup Angels Chicago workshop is ideal for investors at any stage with an added emphasis on the next wave of Chicago’s investors. Chicago’s strong network of younger talent and up-and-coming business professionals makes for a promising ‘next gen’ of angel investors, well-poised to impact Chicago’s often conservative investing climate. 2016 European AngelSummit Recap

Earlier this month, 198 angel investors, entrepreneurs, and community leaders gathered at Dublin’s Google Foundry. This was an exciting summit event for us, being our first major event alongside Google for Entrepreneurs, who joined us as a partner earlier this year.

Attendees came together from 14 different countries to hear 21 sessions on key topics pertaining to angel investing, connect with leaders from other communities, and form personal networks around investing in startups. (more…)
