Startup Angels is partnering with Techstars Mobility to bring the Startup Angels Workshop to Detroit! Join like-minded investors from across the greater Detroit metropolitan area who are interested in startup investing, and see what innovation looks like in Michigan.
The workshop is divided into four sessions which provide new angels and wealth management professionals an introduction to the business of investing in technology startups, a framework for thinking about startup investing in the context of overall portfolio diversification, and a practical guide to the mechanics of choosing, negotiating and managing investments.
The workshop will take place at two locations. Day 1 (Oct 4) will be at Varnum Law, 160 West Fort Street, Fifth Floor. Day 2 (Oct 5) will be at Techstars Mobility (offices are inside Ford Field).
